DC Kulgam reviews progress of ODOP
Kulgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam Dr. Bilal Mohi ud Din Bhat on Monday convened a meeting of officers to review achievements and progress made on One District One Product (ODOP).
Bhat issued directions to all the allied departments to gear up and create awareness among the people about the concept of Micro Food Processing Units.
The Area Marketing Officer Kulgam was directed to organize a seminar at Mini Secretariat premises to familiarize the concept of ODOP.
Earlier, the Area Marketing Officer gave a detailed presentation about the scheme and assured the chair that more contact programmes will be conducted to familiarize them about the scheme.
During the meeting, DC also reviewed progress of developmental deliverables aimed at ensuring holistic and equitable development in the district.
He directed all the departments to prioritize implementation of these departmental deliverables so that targets are achieved on time with tangible results on the ground.
He directed them to redouble their efforts to ensure cent percent saturation of all parameters given under the deliverables programme.
