Encounter breaks out in Pulwama village
Srinagar, June 11: An encounter broke out between terrorists and government forces in Drabgam of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in main Drabgam.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed about the exchange of fire. He said that the operation is going on.
