Animal husbandry deptt holds awareness camp at Gurez
Bandipora: The Animal Husbandry Department Bandipora on Wednesday organised a mega awareness camp at DAK Bunglow Dawar.
The camp was attended by Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Bandipora (CAHO), Dr G A Lone, Sub Divisional Magistrate Gurez, Dr Mudasir, PRIs, BVO Gurez, Dr Izhar ul Haq, Bank Managers VASs of the Block Gurez besides other officials of the Department and dairy farmers.
Addressing the gathering, Dr G A Lone briefly discussed various Departmental schemes viz IDDS, FDS, IPDP etc and advised the young educated youth to avail the benefits of the schemes and have a sound source of income besides generating employment for others.
On the occasion 23 KCC Dairy cases were sponsored under the Kisan Bhagidari Prathmikta Hamari Campaign.
The camp concluded with the award ceremony for felicitating Mustafa Dar who availed the benefit of IPDP (2021-22) Scheme in the establishment of First Broiler Farm at Gurez.
A Momento and an appreciation certificate was presented to him by the department.
The farmers expressed their gratitude to the District Administration Bandipora and the Department of Animal Husbandry Bandipora for organising such awareness camps in the Gurez Block.
