Sopore boy shines again, wins another gold medal

Sopore: A 14-year-old boy from north Kashmir’s Sopore township has bagged second gold medal in sports, this time in the 5th national TONG-IL MOO-DO Federation Cup 2022.
Mohammad Raif Khuroo, a 4th grade student at St. Joseph’s School Baramulla, secured the medal in 35-kg category in the competition held at Indoor Stadium Srinagar.
Raif is a trainee from Shah-I-Hamdan Sports Academy Sopore, and has earlier bagged a gold medal in the 5th National Sports Kempho Championship held at J&K Sports Council Jammu in April this year.
He has also won a Bronze medal in March in Amar Shaheed Bipin Rawat Memorial National Kick-Boxing event held at Solan, Himachal Pardesh.
Raif’s coach, teachers, parents have hailed his talent and congratulated him for bringing laurels in sports activities.
