Police destroys poppy cultivation in Budgam
Srinagar: Police along with civil authorities destroyed poppy cultivation in Beerwah area of Budgam, a police spokesman said Friday.
He said that a police party along with officials of Revenue Department destroyed illegal poppy cultivation spread over five kanals of land at village Arabal Peth Zanigam in district Budgam.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 61/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Beerwah and further investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
