5th national sports Kempo championship
Sopore students bags medals
Sopore: Sopore students continued to shine by bagging gold medals in the 5th national sports Kempo championship organised by sports Kempo association India in collaboration with J&K sports council held at Bhagwati nagar Jammu.
On the second day of the championship 40 participants of Kashmir martial art academy Islamia High school Sopore also participant under the supervision of state director master G.M Palla and Sensei G.M Bhat.
During the championship out of 40 participants 7 bagged gold, 17silver and 9 bagged Bronze medals.
The coaching staff later felicitated all the cadets (boys and girls)and congratulated them for their brilliant success.
Those who won gold medals are Nargis Firdous, Nafeesa Jan, Mubeena Mehboob, Bazila Zahoor, Mudasir Rashid Ganaie and Mohammad Haroon Bhat.
Muskan Bashir, Yasmeena Sajad, Urooj Musa, Falak Bashir, Tahseen Majeed, Rabiya Mustaq, Suraya, Afreen, Hilal Ahmad, Ishfaq Ahmad, Tufail Ahmad, Tahir Ahmad, Altaf Hussain Ganaie, Irfan Ahmad, Sajad Ahmad, Khalid Manzoor and Mohamad Yaseen bagged silver while as Sobiya Bashir,Sheizan Parvaz, Khan Nusrat, Fatima Mohammad Mir, Toiba Zahoor, Tafiya Bhat bagged bronze medals in the championship.
