Gunfight breaks out in Pulwama village
Srinagar, Apr 27: An encounter broke out between terrorists and government forces in Mitrigam area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday.
Reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Mitrigam area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed about the exchange of fire and said that the entire area has been cordoned off.
