Gunfight starts in Kulgam village
Kulgam, Apr 23: An encounter has started between security forces and terrorists in Mirhama area of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday, officials said.
They said that that the encounter broke out in Mirhama area, where a cordon and search operation was launched on Saturday after reports of suspicious movement.
He said that today as the forces zeroed in on the suspected spot, the terrorists fired upon them, triggering an encounter.
