From all sides there was a version,
All affliction, all remorse
Emerged amidst Haider-e karar
Full of faith and gallantry
Who could resist the lion heart?
Chosen one in Khyber
When sun had arisen
Light penetrated deep
And darkness accomplished
Surely a wide advert
Ali jolted Khyber at once
Laced with Zulufkar, bestowed with
Unflinching faith
Revered progeny offered great sacrifice
Earth trembled, skies wept blood
Sinking boat of faith under the cruel
Clutches of dusty wind
Surely brought to shore
With Muhammad (SAW) guardian and teacher
For Karram-Allah-u -Wajhahu
Bestowed with unique knowledge
And title of Murtuza
Surely, Haider we must say
Born in holy Kabba
Martyred in Kufa
Father of the chiefs of paradise
And married with Zuhra (A.S)
The leader of the woman of paradise
Surely Babbul-illum
(The gate of knowledge)…
