Baramulla encounter update: Second terrorist killed, says police
Srinagar, Apr 21: Police on Thursday said that a second terrorist has been killed in the ongoing encounter at Malwah area of Barmulla district.
“#BaramullaEncounterUpdate: 2nd #terrorist also killed. Ops in progress. LeT cmdr Yousuf Kantroo had #killed BDC Chairman Late Sardar Bhupinder Singh on 23/9/20 in his own native place in Khag area. Case FIR No 79/20 was registered against terrorist Kantroo in PS Khag,” police said in a tweet.
Meanwhile, four soldiers and a policeman were injured in the gunfight so far.
A police officer said that all the injured including four soldiers and a policeman, constable Basharat Ahmad, have been hospitalized.
