Jamsheed Choudhary assumes charge as ARTO Baramulla
Sopore: Jamsheed Choudhary on Monday assumed the charge of ARTO Baramulla, a spokesman of the department said.
He said that after assuming charge as the new ARTO Baramulla head quarter Sopore, he interacted with the employees of the department who accorded a warm welcome to him.
Later Choudhury while talking to media men said he reviewed the problems related to traffic management in the district.
The officer said he held detailed discussions with the officers of the department and was briefed about various steps being taken to improve the traffic management system in the district.
He said that ensuring safety on roads and institutionalizing professional planning in the domain of traffic management will be his top priority. He further said that those caught violating traffic rules would be dealt with strictly as per law.
The officer also appealed people for cooperation for running the office of ARTO in a transparent manner.
