New Delhi, Apr 17: Advocate Farooq Reshi who recently quit his job as a police officer to join politics called on Chairman, World Peace Harmony Haji Shakeel Saifi on Sunday at New Delhi.

During the one hour long meeting both the leaders discussed the emerging situation in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Post August 5, 2019 Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a new phase which spells development, peace and terror free atmosphere,” Saifi told the visiting leader.

The robust and forward looking policies being pursued by the administration in Jammu and Kashmir have opened up new vistas for the youth and the changing situation is being embraced by the youth with open arms, he said.

“Today the Lt Guv lead administration and the security forces in the UT have started a decisive war against terror operatives and soon the region will be free from any terror activities and people will witness a new phase of development and growth,” Saifi said.

The two leaders agreed on ending dynasty politics in Jammu and Kashmir and listed the dynasty politics as one of the major curse the UT was afflicted with.

“The dynasty politics had robbed Jammu and Kashmir of its share of growth and prosperity as the dynasts believed in looting the public money and creating assets for themselves alone,” the two leaders said.

They said that time has come to bid a farewell to these politicians who did not let Jammu and Kashmir be part of the change the entire nation has witnessed since Prime Minister Narender Modi took over.

“Today lakhs of tourists are visiting Kashmir and the prevailing peace is providing them an environment that is free from fear or any intimidation,” Saifi said.

He was all praise for the Lt Guv Manoj Sinha who he said is working tirelessly to provide ample opportunities for the youth to excel and lead Jammu and Kashmir on the path of peace and development.

The two leaders also said that employment avenues have started to emerge for the youth and very soon a situation will arise where no one will be sitting idle.

The two leaders also expressed hope that the war on curbing the drug menace in Kashmir valley will soon be brought to a logical conclusion and the UT will be free from both the gun and drug culture.
