Police arrests drug peddler in Baramulla
Srinagar: Police arrested a drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession, a police spokesman said Wednesday.
He said that police personnel at a checkpoint established at Dhobiwan Kunzer arrested a drug peddler identified as Nazir Ahmad Malik son of Abdul Gani Malik resident of Wanigam Kunzer and recovered 150 grams of Charas from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to police station where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kunzer and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
