National Vaccination campaign: DIPR organises Nukkad Natak to spread awareness
JAMMU: A Nukkad Natak was organized by Cultural Unit of Department of Information and Public Relation (DIPR) Jammu in collaboration with District Health Society Jammu on National Vaccination Day to aware the general public about Pulse Polio campaign, here at Saryara Sabha Jammu Wednesday.
Corporator Sharda Devi was the Chief Guest, while Chief Medical Officer Jammu Dr. Jai Paul was guest of honour.
Among others present were Rajiv Charak (Social Activist), Bahadur Lal Dalotra (President Saryara Sabha), Dr.Arvinder Bhaskar, Dr.Ambita and Dr. Geetu Dutta.
Asha Workers with excellent performance were also felicitated by District Health Society Jammu.
Later, DIPR organised a symposium on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav here under the guidance of Cultural Officer Parul Khajuria at Maharaja SurajMal Institute of Education and Research Rangpur Maulananian located in a remote border village of Tehsil Suchetgarh.
In all, 10 students presented their views on the topic before an audience of over 600 students.
The Panel of Judges comprised Rekha Devi, Pinky Devi and Kusham Thedria.
Jyoti Sharma coordinated the symposium. She was assisted by Deepika.
Nisha Devi bagged 1st position while 2nd position went to Vedika Sharma and third position was secured by Muskan Choudhary.
The students were addressed by Sushil Choudhary, Social worker and Chairman of Maharaja SurajMal Institute of Education and Research Rang Pur Maulanian R S Pura. He said that these types of programmes make young minds aware about our culture and heroes of the Freedom Struggle.
Others present on the occasion were Principal Geeta Choudhary, Meena Suman, Anu Choudhary, Sonali Choudhary, Ashok Kumar, Manu Mehra, TC Choudhary and Balbir Singh Sr. Cultural Assistant, DIPR Jammu.
