Road dividers installed for curtailing traffic jams: Sopore Admin
Sopore: The administration in north Kashmir’s Sopore area has clarified that the road dividers installed in Sopore town have been put up to reduce the frequent traffic jams that were reported in the area.
A spokesman of the administration said that road divider has been established in the interest of traffic jam in the market.
The local administration has received a large number of grievance from the same public to streamline the traffic mess in the town, for which road dividers were established the area, the spokesman quoting ADC Sopore said.
Pertinently, shopkeepers from various markets of Sopore town in Baramulla district on Wednesday staged a peaceful protest against the administration over erection of new road dividers at various places and alleged road blockades at various points across the town is hampering their business.
