Police traces out missing woman, reunites her with family
Srinagar: Police in north Kashmir’s Bandipora traced a woman who was missing since 22th Feb and was later reunited with her family, a police spokesman said.
He said that on 22/02/2022, police received a written complaint stating therein that a woman identified as Sheeraza Begum wife of Ishfaq Ahmad Khan resident of Hajin is missing from Hajin market.
Accordingly, a missing report was lodged in Police Station Hajin and investigation was initiated.
Subsequently, massive search was launched by a police team under the guidance/supervision of SDPO Hajin and SHO PS Hajin, the spokesman said.
After strenuous efforts and utilising all available technical/human resources the woman was traced from Ashmuqam Anantnag. After completion of all legal/medical formality the said lady was handed over to her relatives. Family members of the traced missing woman have applauded the efforts by Bandipora police for prompt response in tracing her out.
