Inclement weather: Jmu-Sgr highway closes, flights disrupted
Srinagar, Feb 23: Due to heavy snowfall the Jammu Stinagar national highway has been closed for traffic while as flight operations at the Srinagar airport too have been disrupted, officials said.
They said that Jammu Srinagar NHW has been closed for vehicular movement due to landslides/shooting stones at many places on NHW and snow accumulation around the NVYUG Tunnel.
Meanwhile, officials said that the isibility has reduced to 500 m and snowfall is expected to continue till 0930hrs.
All flights are delayed, the officials added.
