DC Kupwara asks officers to accelerate developmental tempo : Reviews works under CAPEX and ADF

KUPWARA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din Saturday convened a series of meetings with the concerned officers to review the pace of progress under Rural Development, Health, Education and Engineering sector including R&B, PDD and PHE.
Addressing the meetings, the DC stressed upon the officers to accelerate the developmental tempo in the district and redouble their efforts for achieving cent percent targets within the stipulated time frame. He directed the officers to submit weekly targets achieved in their respective jurisdictions.
The DC took sector wise review and the concerned officers briefed him about their achievements in their respective jurisdictions.
It was informed in the meeting that 828 works were allotted under the RDD sector; out of which 619 works were taken up for execution and 172 works have been completed so far.
Regarding financial progress under CAPEX Budget, it was informed that Rs.1070 lakh have been expended by various departments till date.
It was also informed that 597 works have been completed out of a target of 2058 works under the District CAPEX budget 2021-22.
The DC asked concerned officers to ensure completion of all works taken under the Area Development Fund viz a viz CAPEX Budget.
