Man slips to death in Poonch forest
Poonch: A 25-year-old young man died after he slipped while returning home with firewood from a jungle near his residence in Poonch district on Thursday.
Official sources said that a person identified as Manzoor Hussain (25) of Ucchad Nabana who was carrying firewood from nearby jungle (forest) slipped and fell down, resulting in his on spot death. A police party of Mankote reached the spot and completed legal formalities.
SHO Mendhàr Manzoor Kohli confirmed the incident and said that body was handed over to the family for last rites. (GNS)
