ETO Anantnag holds awareness camp
ANANTNAG: To prevent illicit cultivation of Poppy/Bhang, a team of Excise officials of Excise Range Anantnag-Pulwama-Shopian-Kulgam has carried out an awareness campaign involving religious heads/Imams in Kokernag Tehsil of Anantnag district of Excise Range South Kashmir.
The Awareness focused on involving the religious heads with the purpose to create massive awareness generation, preventive education and with the objective of mobilising the community, promoting awareness and collective initiative towards the prevention of illicit cultivation of Poppy/Bhang.
ETO Anantnag, Sameer Ahmad said that these awareness campaigns will continue as a focused preventive measure to curb the menace of illicit cultivation of Poppy/Bhang.
