DC Anantnag launches e-services of Revenue department

12 Services to be issued online: Dr Singla

ANANTNAG: In an effort towards implementing basic indicator of Good Governance, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Piyush Singla Thursday launched e-services of Revenue department in the district.
Under this initiative, 12 services viz. income, dependence, category, marriage and other certificates will be issued to the beneficiaries through a completely online process.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Singla said that the move is aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability in the departments besides making the process of obtaining certificates affordable and hassle free for the common man. He said the service has been launched on the Service Plus web portal and can also be accessed through the Service Plus app available online.
The district has imparted necessary trainings among field functionaries for processing online applications and directions have been issued to ensure on boarding of all stake holders in the process.
The services being provided through the portal include issuance of various certificates including dependency, OBC, RBA, ALC, legal heir, marriage, income, SC, ST, income and assets for EWS cases, character and pahari speaking category.
The portal can be accessed at https://serviceonline.gov.in/jammu. It is a simple GUI based interactive platform. The portal is accessible 24×7 and is a single window platform for submitting and tracking online applications.
It is in place to mention that SUKOON – an app based completely online process is already employed for processing relief cases in the district and has significantly reduced the time taken to process cases with some cases processed within 3 days of the event/damage being reported.
