Covid-19: 12 employees of MC Sopore test positive
Sopore: Twelve employees of the Municipal Council Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday tested positive for covod-19, officials said.
They said that a mass testing was carried out in which 12 employees of Municipal Council Sopore tested positive for COVID-19 and all of them have been asked to self-isolate themselves.
Pertinently, nearly 200 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 48 hours in Sopore town.
While confirming the covid results, nodal officer at Covid-19 hospital at Sopore Dr. Shahid,” said that 184 people have tested positive for the virus in last two days.
He appealed people to cooperate and follow all guidelines issued from health department during this pandemic.
The officer added that more than 500 people were tested positive in last eight days in Sopore among few are admitted in hospital and rest were advised for home isolation.
