Jmu-Sgr national highway remains closed for traffic: Police
Srinagar, Jan 6: Following rains and snowfall on Wednesday the strategic Jammu-Srinagar National highway remains closed for traffic on Thursday, a traffic police official said.
“Traffic update Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44) closed for vehicular movement due to landslides/mudslides and shooting stones at several places on NH-44, Mughal road , SSG road and Sinthan road closed due to snow accumulation,” a spokesman tweeted.
Police has advised people not to schedule travel on thee highways till further announcements.
