One militant killed in Pulwama encounter: Police
Srinagar, Jan 05: One unidentified militant has been killed in a pre-dawn encounter that is raging between militants and government forces in Chandgam area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said Wednesday.
A police spokesman informed in a tweet that one unidentified militant has been killed while the operation is still going on.
Earlier reports said that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Chandgam.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
