Police arrests three drug peddlers in Sopore
Sopore: Police on Monday arrested three drug peddlers from north Kashmir’s Sopore and recovered psychotropic substance from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that police personnel at a checkpoint established at Chinar Crossing Warpora intercepted three suspicious persons. During checking, officers were able to recover 12 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from their possession. They have been arrested and shifted to police station where they remain in custody.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 03/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman added.
