Elderly man found dead in Qazigund village
Qazigund: Dead body of a 65-year-old man was found under mysterious circumstances in Ladijan-Nussu area of Qazigund in south Kashmir on Monday evening.
An official said that a male body was spotted in the paddy field by locals. Subsequently, the police was informed which reached the spot soon and took the corpse into possession.
The body was identified as Ghulam Muhammad Ganie (65), son of Ghulam Qadir Ganie of Nussu Qazigund.
“He has a head injury. Investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of death,” the official said. (KNO)
