Tehsil Office Gund celebrates Good Governance Week
Kangan: As a part of Good Governance Week under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Tehsil Office Gund headed by Tehsildar, Javid Iqbal convened a programme at BHSS Gund to resolve public grievances on spot.
People of tehsil Gund participated enthusiastically and registered their grievances before the Tehsil officers, officials said.
DDC, BDC and other PRIs and officials from various departments were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Tehsildar Gund highlighted the purpose of celebrating Good Governance week and gave necessary instructions to the Officers regarding disposal of grievances raised in a time bound manner.
He urged the officers to adopt the good governance practices and improve service delivery in the best interest of the public. A detailed presentation was given by revenue department regarding digitization of revenue land records.
During the concluding day of Good Governance week, various activities were carried by the departments including issuance of Domicile, RBA, Income certificates, mutation camps and eviction of state land.
Zonal Medical Officer, PHC Gund, Dr Sheikh Riyaz also highlighted various flagship schemes of health department.
