Good Governance Week: Multifarious activities witnessed in Ganderbal
GANDERBAL: On 4th day of the ‘Good Governance Week’ being celebrated under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ multifarious activities were carried out in district Ganderbal for taking good governance to villages.
During the day, distribution of driving licences, mutation camps, awareness programs, health camps and issuance of various types of Certificates were held.
Assistant Director Handicrafts organised awareness camp at block Lar and distributed Artisan Cards among the Artisans.
Similarly, the Office of Chief Medical Officer Ganderbal issued disability certificates to the beneficiaries. Besides, MCH services were provided during a camp with free distribution of Iron Folic Acid distribution and onspot detection of Anaemia at PHC Gund.
Likewise, the Revenue department held Mutation camps at Pati Shallabugh and Sumbal Bala under the supervision of concerned Tehsildars.
Earlier, Deputy Registrar Cooperative conducted an awareness camp at Gutlibagh about the services being provided by the department under PSGA. ARTO Ganderbal also handed-over driving licences.
Meanwhile, the Agriculture Department and allied sectors also organized various awareness programs at several locations of the district about the services and schemes being provided by the department.
