Idara Tehqeeq Adab organizes literary event

Handwara: A grand literary event was organised in the Sheikhul Alam Environmental Hall Handwara under the aegis of Idara Tehqeeq Adab JK, a statement by the organisation said Saturday.
The event was presided over by the President of Adbi Markaz Kamraz Mohammad Amin Bhat. The function was also attended by Shabnam Tiligami, General Secretary Adbi Markaz Kamraz, Vice President Javed iqbal Moveri, Farooq Shaheen President of Idara Tehqeeq Adab JK, Sheikh Parvez district president of Rehbari Taleem Teachers forum Kupwara, Bhat Ashraf, Fareeda Shouq, Dr Sajad Wani and Hina Jan.
During the event ‘fancy flights’ authored by Haya Sajad Wani and ‘cuckoo’s voice’ written by Shafkat Aziz too were released.
‘Khushboo’ the representational magazine of Idara Tehqeeq Adab JK was also released during the function.
Mohammad Amin Bhat President Adbi Markaz Kamraz was honoured with Sanadi Iftikhar.
Chief guest of the function and district president Rehbari Taleem Teachers forum Kupwara Parvez Sheikh said “we have an army of Rehbari Taleem Teachers in every mohalla, village, town and city of valley. Their services can be best utilised for the promotion and development of Kashmiri language and literature”.
Farooq Shaheen President of Idara Tehqeeq Adab JK reiterated that the young poets and writers would be provided every platform to prove their mettle so that Kashmiri as a compulsory subject would be introduced in our schools.
Prominent member of the Idara Ghulam Mohammad Dar served as the dice incharge during the literary function.
The vote of thanks was presented by Mohammad Akram Qureshi. Other dignitaries who graced this grand event include Nazir Ibni Shahbaaz, Safdar Yousuf, Salfi Mushtaq, Tariq Ali Shah, Mushtaq Ahmad Kumar District Horticulture Officer Kupwara, Ghulam Hassan Ajmi, Tariq Ahmad Tariqat, Hasan Azhar, Hina Jan, Taranum Shaheen, Ishfaq Ahmad, Mohammad Mushtaq, Saqib Ahmad, Ajaz Ahmad Wani, Firdous Ahmad and the students of Hill Park International school.
