SRINAGAR: Continuing its efforts to bring all left out eligible Farmers in the district under Kisan Credit Card(KCC) scheme, the District Administration in collaboration with Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry and other allied departments Saturday held awareness cum Registration camps at Maloora and Qamarwari Panchayat Blocks of the district.
The Awareness cum Registration Camp was organized on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad to provide Kisan Credit Cards to all left out farmers in the district to ensure 100 percent beneficiaries are covered under the scheme so that they are entitled to the benefits of the KCC scheme.
During the Awareness camps farmers of Maloora and Qamarwari Blocks were sensitized about the process of registration and benefits of Kissan Credit Card scheme and enrolled the number of beneficiaries under the scheme on the spot.
The Officers of Agriculture Department, besides Horticulture, Animal/Sheep Husbandry, NABARD, JK Bank Lead Bank and officers of other line Departments were present on the occasion to ensure that all uncovered eligible Farmers/ beneficiaries are enrolled for having KCC.
