JKYF opens Tehsil office in Bhaderwah

Srinagar: As part of widening its reach to provide succor to needy and continue relief and rehabilitation of poor and destitute, J&K Yateem Foundation dedicated its newly acquired Tehsil Office of Bhaderwah Unit, to public on Saturday, a spokesman of the organization said.
He said that a solemn function was organized at new office at Circular Road Behind Govt Lower High school, Nagar Mohalla, Qilla Bhaderwah in district Doda, which was attended by a galaxy of officials, JKYF volunteers, honoray functionaries and members of civil society in the district.
Nowdeep Wazir, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) and Incharge Addl Deputy Commissioner (ADC) commended the efforts and initiatives of JKYF being undertaken for the poor, needy and destitute in the society. He said that sparing time for bringing comfort and succour to needy people by JKYF volunteers is praiseworthy and worth emulating when people don’t find time for their own families in modern hectic life.
Wazir added that JKYF as an Organization is doing commendable job to reach out the poor & needy in the Society. He appealed all sections of people irrespective of religion to help and support JKYF’s social service cause adding that needy people need in-time help of the society.
CEO BDA further said that non availability of basic needs for children in childhood impacts psyche with lifelong scars of sense of deprivation and despondency on their psyche thereby affecting morale and latent talent among them.
Mohammed Rafiq Lone, ex chairman and Senior JKYF Volunteer & Central Executive Committee (CEC) member in his inaugural address said that orphan (Yateem) is common criterion for everyone and anyone to get help and support from JKYF. He said that cause of death is no criterion in JKYF.
Appealing all to come forward to work for welfare of destitute, Lone complimented all volunteers in Jammu Division for working round the clock in pursuit of JKYF’s social service cause in the district in particular and J&K in common.
Tehsil Representative Bhaderwah Javaid Ahmad Qazi briefly talked about the social service activities of the Tehsil unit.
JKYF District Representative Doda Mr Showkat Hayat Malik presented vote of thanks.
Mohammad Yaqoob Reshi General Secretary, Javaid Jawad-Programme Executive Press and PR Division JKYF, Shiekh Ab Gani District Representative Baramulla, Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat DR Jammu, Shiekh Parvaiz Hussain, President Anjuman I Islamia Bhadarwah,Mir Gafoor, SDPO Bhadarwah, Senior citizens Pandit Ratan Lal,Shankar Das, Reyaz Ahmad Khan and Ab Hafeez Khateeb, Vishal Mangotra,Vikas Mangotra, Masood Ahmad Rangraiz and Abdul Qayoom Kagazgar were also present on the occasion. J&K Yateem Foundation expresses its gratitude to Sanjay Gupta for his contribution to acquire the new office building.
Sajjad Sarmadi conducted the proceedings of the function.
On the occasion, sewing machines costing Rs 20000 were handed over to four widows belonging to both Hindu and Muslim communities, to help them become self reliant to earn dignified livelihood.
Pertinently, four beneficiaries had received training at Vocational Training Centre run by JKYF in Tehsil Bhaderwah.
