Dist Adm. Srinagar organizes KCC Registration camp for farmers

SRINAGAR: District Administration Srinagar in collaboration with Agriculture Department and other allied Departments today held awareness camps at Khonmoh Block and Dara Panchayat to ensure cent percent coverage of all eligible farmers of Srinagar under Kissan Credit Card (KCC) scheme.
The Awareness cum Registration Camp was organized on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad to provide Kissan Credit Cards to all left out farmers in the District to ensure 100 percent beneficiaries are covered under the scheme so that they are entitled to the benefits of the KCC.
During the Awareness camp, farmers of Harwan and Dara areas were sensitized about the process of registration and benefits of Kissan Credit Card scheme and enrolled the number of beneficiaries under the scheme on the spot.
The Officers of Agriculture Department, besides Horticulture, Animal/Sheep Husbandry, NABARD, JK Bank Lead Bank, District Coordinator, EDB and officers of other line Departments were present on the occasion to ensure that all uncovered eligible Farmers/ beneficiaries are enrolled for having KCC.
