Ahmed complex declared a containment zone
Baramulla: In view of the surge in the Covid 19 positive cases in Baramulla Town more specifically in the vicinity of Ahmed Complex Baramulla, District Magistrate Baramulla, Bhupinder Kumar has declared the said location as micro containment zone, an official spokesman said Wednesday.
The order in this regard has been issued because of the surge in Covid-19 positive cases in the said vicinity.
Following the order, there will be complete restrictions in the containment zones. The restrictions include complete lockdown and tight perimeter control except for essential needs, the spokesman added.
Besides, movement of the people in and out in the containment zones had been completely barred.
The authorities have also made testing and vaccination mandatory for the residents of the containment zones.
