Admin retrieves 75.15 Kanal Govt encroached Land at Reasi
REASI: District Administration Reasi, Monday retrieved 75.15 Kanal Government encroached land during a massive anti encroachment drive conducted under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Charandeep Singh.
Kahcharai land., under Khasra No 98 and measuring 16.10 Kanal was retrieved from encroachers at village Dub Jagir Tehsil Pouni with strict warning to the potential encroachers not to repeat such action in future.
Another parcel of Common land bearing Khasra No 626 and 553 and measuring 2.5 Kanal was vacated at Village Jij, while 2 Kanal common land under Khasra No 3 and 202 measuring 2 Kanal was retrieved in Village Sai Lanjan. The land was restored to the community in presence of prominent citizens for their common use with warning to encroachers not to do encroachment in future. The DC also directed encroachers not to trespass on said land in future and warned that violators will be prosecuted in case of any encroachment.
General public was also sensitised regarding Revenue /land laws and their adherence.
Tehsildar Pouni Lekh Raj and Tehsildar Thakrakote Naresh Kumar were present.
