Police seizes JCB for illegal extraction of minerals
Srinagar: Police on Saturday seized a JCB involved in illegal extraction of minerals from government land in north Kashmir’s Handwara area, a police spokesman said.
He said that police personnel along with officials of Mining and Geology Department seized a JCB involved in extraction of minerals illegally extracted from government land at Nalla Mawar.
Accordingly a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard and investigation has been initiated, the spokesman said.
