Poetic collection of Assadullah Afaqi to be released
Budgam: ‘Life foundation’ Charai Sharief along with ‘Markazai Adab wa Sakafat’ and J&K Private Schools Association shall be organising ‘Afaqi Day’ on November 8th in the memory of renowned poet, writer translator, expert Sheikh ul Alam (RA) studies and founder Life School Assadullah Afaqi on his eighth death anniversary. The proceedings will be held in the auditorium of Life School Zaloosa Charari Sharief at 11 am.
The event will be held in three sessions and shall be graced by the presence of Professor Farooq Fayaz, Professor GN Khaki, GN War, Professor Zaman Azurda, Professor Shaad Ramzan, Muhammad Amin Bhat, Ali Muhammad Ehsan, Bilal Ahmed Pampoori, Dr Gazanfar Ali, Dr Aijaz Ashraf, Professor Bashar Bashir, Dr Javid Ahmed Wani, GN Adfar amongst others.
On the occasion “Rupwan” the poetic collection of late Assadullah Afaqi will be released in presence of Chairman Life Foundation Nazrul Islam.
Also ‘Afaqi Award’-2021 will be conferred to GN Adfar for his life time achievements and contributions to Sheikh ul Alam (RA) studies.
Later Life School students shall pay tributes to Assadullah Afaqi on his contributions to Sheikh ul Alam studies
