Militant killed in Baramulla gunfight: Police
Srinagar, Oct 28: One unidentified militant has been killed in a brief shootout after militants attacked a forces patrol party in Cherdari, Baramulla in north Kashmir on Thursday morning, a police spokesman tweeted.
“#Terrorists fired on ADP of Army and Police in Cherdari, #Baramulla. Alert parties retaliated and 1 terrorist killed. #Identification is being #ascertained. 01 pistol, 01 loaded magazine & 01 Pak grenade was recovered from his possession,” the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, the entire area has been cordoned off and searches were conducted, reports added.
