Army man ends life in Kupwara
Srinagar: An army man died after shooting himself using his service rifle in Tsuntwari in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, official sources said Saturday.
They said that the army man identified as P. Harish Kumar, serving in 21 Mahar shot himself fatally while on duty at Forward Post. He was shifted to 92 Base Hospital in Srinagar, where the doctors declared him as brought dead on arrival.
It was immediately not known why the soldier took the extreme step, the officials added. (GNS)
