Family of missing Sopore fruit trader stage protest, seek his whereabouts

Sopore: The family members, relatives and scores of fruit traders on Saturday morning held a protest demonstration here at Fruit mandi Sopore in north Kashmirs Baramulla district seeking whereabouts of a trader who has gone missing since 22nd September.
Reports said that family members and relatives of 47 years old Ghulam Nabi Naiko staged the protest seeking his whereabouts.
Notably, the protestors blocked the Sopore-Achabal Road and staged a demonstration seeking his whereabouts.
Naiko had gone missing on 22th September after he left home for some trade work and had visited Shopian in south Kashmir.
The protestors said that since then the family has reached out to various people seeking his whereabouts but to no avail.
The family members said that they tried hard to locate him everywhere but couldn’t find any clue about him despite lodging missing report in Shopion and Sopore police stations.
Meanwhile, a police official said that they are continuing their efforts to trace out the missing man.
