Two absconders evading arrest since 12 years held
Budgam: Police on Friday said that they have arrested two absconders who were wanted in a case and were evading arrest for the past 12 years, a police spokesman said.
“Acting on a tip-off about the presence of the accused absconders at a specified location, a police team arrested the absconders at Soibugh, Budgam,” a police spokesman said.
The accused have been identified as, Fayaz Ahmad Ganie Son of Ali Mohammad Ganie resident of Hajibagh Soibugh and Manzoor Ahmed Kumar son of Salaam Kumar resident of Sanoor Magam.
“The accused were involved in many FIRs registered against them in various Police stations of the district and will be produced before the court of law,” the police said.
