Road mishap at Kangan leaves six people injured

Srinagar, Oct 2: At least six persons sustained injuries during a collision between two vehicles in Kangan town in central-Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday afternoon.

Reports said that the two vehicles – an Alto bearing registration number (JK01T 4288) and Innova – collided head on at Mudpora Kullan area of Gund Kangan. In the incident six persons identified as Kulsum Bano, Imtiyaz Ahmed and Shahid Ahmed residents of Ramwari Ganderbal alongside Rozi Jan, Adil Ahmed and Tariq Ahmed, residents of Razan Ganderbal sustained injuries.

All the injured were immediately evacuated to a health facility at Kangan wherefrom one injured person was referred to SKIMS Soura.

Meanwhile, confirming the incident a police official said that all the injured, as learnt from the hospital authorities, are doing well. (GNS)
