Police seizes vehicles for transporting illegally extracted minerals
Srinagar: Police in Baramulla seized five vehicles involved in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals from Chakloo area of Baramulla, a police spokesman said.
He said that police carried out the action following reports of vehicles ferrying illegally excavated minerals by some truckers from Chakloo area of Baramulla.
Police requests the people not to indulge in illegal mining activities from any Nallah as it is the violation of Government rules.
Persons found indulging in illegal mining activities shall be dealt as per law, the spokesman added.
