LG Manoj Sinha condemns killing of SI
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday condemned the killing of Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir police department by militants and said his supreme sacrifice won’t go in vain while militants will be punished for the act.
In a tweet by the Office of Lieutenant Governor, Sinha said, “I strongly condemn the brutal killing of our braveheart Police Officer Arshad Ashraf Mir by terrorists. This is a handiwork of enemies of humanity & peace. His supreme sacrifice won’t go in vain, terrorists will be punished for the act. Heartfelt condolences to the martyr’s family.”
Earlier, a police Sub-Inspector identified as Arshid Ahmad Mir resident of Kulmuna Kupwara was killed in a militant attack here in Khanyar area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.(KNS).
