Police arrests absconder in Bandipora
Srinagar: Police on Wednesday arrested an absconder from north Kashmir’s Bandipora who was evading arrest for a long time, a police spokesman said.
He said that police received a non-bailable warrant from the Court of JMIC Bandipora against an accused Hilal Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Akram resident of Watrina Bandipora.
Accordingly, a special team was constituted and the accused was arrested from Safa Kadal area of Srinagar. Subsequently, the accused was produced before the court of law, the spokesman added.
