Unidentified male body recovered at Sopore
Sopore: An unidentified dead body was recovered from river Jhelum at Jamia bridge of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police officials said Saturday.
They said that some locals spotted the body floating over water at Jamia Bridge in Sopore and immediately informed police about it.
Soon after being informed, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body, they said.
They said that the body has been recovered and taken into police custody for post-mortem.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations initiated in this regard,” the officials added.
