Police arrests absconder in Bandipora
Srinagar: Police arrested an absconder in north Kashmir’s Bandipora who was evading arrest from last six years, a police spokesman said.
Police received a warrant issued by the court of Addl. Special Mobile Magistrate Beerwah Budgam against an absconder Abdul Hameed Khan son of Abdul Gafar Khan resident of Panzigam Bandipora, a police spokesman said.
He said that acting on specific information about his presence, a police party raided the specific location and arrested the absconder. He was wanted by law for his involvements in several criminal cases and was absconding since 2015.
