Tourist dies at Sonmarg
Sonmarg: A tourist from Chennai city died after falling from a temporary bridge at Sonmarg tourist resort of Kashmir Valley, sources said Saturday.
They said that a female tourist from Tamil Nadu fell down from a temporary bridge at Thajwas Sonmarg. She fell on the sharp-edged stones and sustained grievous injuries.
The female tourist was taken to Primary Health Centre Sonmarg where she succumbed to her injuries.
Hospital sources identified her as 54-year-old Sumiti, a resident of Chenai, Tamil Nadu. (KNT)
