Drug peddler held in Bandipora
Srinagar: Police arrested a drug peddler in Bandipora in north Kashmir and recovered psychotropic substance from his possession, a police spokesman said here.
He said that a police team established a checking point at Aloosa Ghat and intercepted a person identified as Irshad Ayoub Khan son of Mohammad Ayoub Khan resident of Bonihar Aloosa, Bandipora. During checking, 12 bottles of psychotropic substance were recovered from his possession. He has been arrested and shifted to Police Station where he remains in custody.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 136/2021 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Bandipora and further investigation has been taken up, the spokesman added.
