Police arrested notorious drug peddlers in Rafiabad
Sopore: Police arrested two notorious drug Peddlers in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad village and recovered contraband substance from their possession, a police spokesman said.
He said that during naka checking at village Wapora Rafiabad, a police party of police station Panzla intercepted two person who were found roaming in suspicious circumstances carrying some bags.
During their search 120 Grams of Charas like substance were recovered from their possession and were subsequently apprehended on spot, the spokesman said, adding that they were identified as Irshad Ahmad Lone S/O Ghulam Muhammad Lone of Wapora Rafiabad and Ghulam Mohiudin Lone S/O Ghulam Muhammad Lone of Khushipora Rafiabad.
A case vide FIR number 86/2021 under relevant sections of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Panzla Rafiabad and investigations have been taken up, he added.
