They said that to provide road connectivity to the area, construction of road was started six years back but it is no were near completion.
“People of the area were very happy when government started construction of the road but now six years have passed and we are still waiting for its completion,” said Abdul Jabbar, a local resident.
He said that there is need of embankments at various places as our crop is frequently being washed away by flash floods.
Locals said that they have brought this issue to the notice of higher ups several times but to no avail.
They said that area has been neglected since the past 70 years and they don’t have any hope now as the promises made over the years with them are proving to be mere hoax.
